Welcome to Jopa Farm
Since the early 1970's we have been raising Murray Grey beef cattle, a
few years ago we decided to downsize and relax. After a brief rest we
started raising gaited horses, my life long passion.
Early last year, 2006, we became involved with Boer goats thru the 4-H market goat projects. The first Boer goats we purchased were percentage does, and we fell in love with them. Soon afterwards we bought a purebred buck and does from a breeder in Texas, purchased locally raised does, and finally another buck from Kentucky.
Our bloodlines include: Eggs Ryals, Magunm, Mojo Magic, Powell/Holman,Mufasa, Bodacious, Ryals Topbrass, Pipeline, Cloud Dancing, Kaptein,Eggsfile, Doughmaker, and Wobbles (Platinum Dam).
Here is our doe "Granny's girl" who won Reserve Grand Champion at the USBGA Show May 31, 2009 at the Glenville, West Virginia Recreation Center.
Our goals are to raise healthy, hardy gentle goats with proven genetics
of excellent growth rates that can work for you. We pride ourselves on
excellent customer services and will continue to improve our herd.
